Jake Ryan to Visit Polo

FL - The season at International Polo Club
Palm Beach will get underway Sunday, January 13, 2008
when the Joe Barry Memorial Cup opening game is played
and Cody Linley, Jake Ryan from Hannah Montana the Disney
Channel series, visits to throw out the first ball,
sign autographs and present trophies following the game.
Linley has appeared in several of the wildly popular
series and was nominated this year for a Young Artist
Award “Best Performance in a Recurring Role”
and was part of the programming that won an Emmy for
“Outstanding Children’s Programming.”
Cody recently starred as "Sean" opposite
Emily Osment in HAUNTING HOUR: DON'T THINK ABOUT IT
produced by The Hatchery and distributed by Universal
which airs on Cartoon Network. The film is based on
an R. L. Stein book, a horror flick, also available
on DVD.
Cody also starred as the leading role of "Mullet
Fingers" in the Walden-Media family film HOOT,
produced by Frank Marshall, Kathleen Kennedy, Jimmy
Buffett and directed by Wil Shriner. In HOOT, Mullet
Fingers (Linley) is a wild boy who lives in the woods
and fights to protect the owls that live there despite
the police officer’s (Luke Wilson) efforts to
stop the mischief he causes because of it. The film
is based on the Carl Haaison's award winning book.
Cody made his motion picture debut as Spit McGee in
the poignant family film "My Dog Skip." For
his work in the award-winning movie, Cody shared the
Young Artist Award (along with star Frankie Muniz and
other cast members) for Best Ensemble in a Feature Film.
International Polo Club Palm Beach is located in Wellington,
