Lechuza Caracas Wins Butler Handicap
March 29, 2008
WELLINGTON, FL - Lechuza Caracas ran away with the Butler Handicap Trophy today by soundly defeating Audi 17-10 at International Polo Club Palm Beach.
Sapo Caset who led Lechuza's scoring with six goals said, "We're playing well as a team. We have a system in place for each position and everyone is working together." It was evident from the first chukker that Audi would have difficulty matching that system as Lechuza jumped to a 6-0 lead and never looked back.
Gonzalito Pieres scored seven for the Audi quartet in the losing effort but his horse Pampeana was given Best Playing Pony Honors. Guille Aguero of Lechuza was named MVP.
