This segment from our American Polo Series, profiles Team Lucchese, led my Patron John Muse, and top rated player Mike Azzaro, and the long standing ties between polo and Lucchese Boots.
I Love Lucchese cowboy boots! As an artist I have a real appreciation for beauty and aesthetics which is why I personally own five pairs of Lucchese cowboy boots. They are exquisite. My son recently got married at the “Grand Bohemian” in Orlando and instead of giving my new daughter in law a gift from their bridal registry, I bought her a pair of ” Lucchese Charlie 1 Horse” cowboy boots and she was thrilled! She loves her new “Mommy in law”. I also love the sport of Polo and recently completed a series of giant dramatic polo paintings as seen on the painting page of Kinghale Gallery at http://www.kinghalegallery.com I recently moved to Colorado from Sarasota and although cowboy boots are the norm out here in the great Southwest, you can still catch me dancing at the Ritz on my visits back to Sarasota in my little black dress and my fancy, drop dead gorgeous, Lucchese cowboy boots.
Wow! I have been watching POLO since early 1070s in Oak Brook Illinois Where the Butlers Had the fields. Kraml Milk, Busch etc played. In your video, you mentioned Cecil Smith wearing Luchese boots! WOW!! I had the great pleasure of watching Cecil Smith play often on Sunday afternoons! It was out family outing! In ILLINOIS & then when it came to WINDSOR & then POINT WEST, now I watch it on TV WHDT TV but evidently it just went off the air 2 weeks ago just when the TOURNAMENT BEGAN! OH NO!! Now I cannot see high goal polo anymore!
I live in Sebastian! Been watching it for some 30 years or more!!
