Ylvisaker Cup - 22 Goal...

Tournament Dates: January 31 - February 18, 2007

William Ylvisaker has been an active Patron of U.S. Polo for over 50 years.

Past Chairman of the U.S. Polo Association and creator of the Polo Training Foundation, Bill was instrumental during the 70's in attracting Corporate Sponsors to the sport. He was also instrumental in the development of South Florida as a center for International Polo.

As a 7-goal patron his accomplishments include U.S. Open, Coronation Cup, Gold Cup and Silver Cup Titles.

      Mt. Brilliant was declared champion of the annual 14-goal Members Invitational based on net goals. Mt. Brilliant tied Outback 4-4 and defeated Isla Carroll 5-3 for plus-2 net goals. Outback edged Isla Carroll 5-4 as Tim Gannon scored four goals for the winners and finished with plus-1. Will Johnston of Mt. Brilliant was named the MVP and Best Playing Pony award went to Outback’s Tim Gannon. Bo Goodman of Mt. Brilliant was the youngest player in the event at 14 years old.  


Should a game be postponed due to rain or any reason,
the Polo Office will reschedule that game for the next day.
