Harold "Joe" Barry, has been described as a galloping oak tree with the soul of a poet. An impenetrable Back at 9-goals, no one could hit a longer ball or provide a more reliable presence. Soft spoken off the field and ever the gentleman on the field, polo has no better role model than Joe.

Ylvisaker Cup 2012 - 20 Goal

A visionary businessman and former captain of the Yale polo team, Bill Ylvisaker founded Palm Beach Polo & Country Club. He also founded the Polo Training Foundation to teach and develop young polo players. During his playing career, Ylvisaker was a 7-goal player, and won three U.S. Open championships, two Coronation Cups against England and Australia, the U.S. Polo Association Gold Cup and four national 20-goal championships. He served as chairman of the U.S. Polo Association from 1970-75.

Iglehart Cup 2012 - 20 Goal

The Iglehart Cup is played in honor of Phillip Iglehart. Phillip was a seven-goal player and played on numerous championship polo teams. He was instrumental in founding the Polo Museum and Hall of Fame. Phillip was the key figure in relocating the Gulfstream Polo Club in Lake Worth, FL when development forced the club from it's former oceanside location in Briney Breezes, FL.

Royal Salute C.V. Whitney Cup 2012 - 26 Goal

This tournament, first held in 1979, is named in memory of Cornelius Vanderbilt Sonny Whitney, who along with his cousin John Hay Whitney, were important polo patrons in the 1930's. The son of Hall of Fame patron Harry Payne Whitney, C.V., won the US Open three times (twice against his brother) and was a renowned owner and breeder of thoroughbred horses. USPA Piaget Gold Cup - 26 Goal

The 26 Goal USPA Gold Cup, first played in 1974 at the Oakbrook Polo Club in Illinois, is a symbol of professionalism, good sportsmanship and high goal polo at its finest. This tournament has been played at various polo clubs throughout its history and since 2007, the International Polo Club Palm Beach has proudly hosted this prestigious event. The USPA US Open Polo Championship™, the most prestigious tournament in the United States, dates back to 1904 where it was first played at Meadowbrook Polo Club in Old Westbury, NY and has been played at the International Polo Club Palm Beach of Wellington, Florida since 2004. Wanderers Classic - 14 Goal

The Wanderers is a highly competitive, month long tournament which is a great venue for IPC members who are not in the high goal. The majority of these series games are scheduled on weekends which accommodates players who commute to Florida during the polo season.

Freebooters Classic - 14 Goal

Like the Wanderers the Freebooters is a month long tournament played mostly on weekends. These Classic Series tournaments are an excellent venue for players to hone their skills for the IPC high goal series.

Everglades Classic - 16 Goal

The Everglades Classic steps it up a notch to 16 goals. By March, the 20 goal series has ended and the 26 goal series is in full swing. This increase in the high goal level allows a number of medium range players (4 and 5 goals) to fill out 16 goal teams.

IPC Qualifier USPA President’s Cup - 8 Goal

IPC will once again be hosting a regional qualifying round for the National President's Cup. Throughout the US, clubs are encouraged to host a President's Cup qualifying round which allows players to win their way to the National President's Cup final at IPC on the weekend of the US Open Championship.

National President’s Cup - 8 Goal

2012 will be the 8th year that IPC has hosted the USPA National President's Cup. For years, since it's inception, this tournament has allowed players who are not competing in the US Open Championship the chance to qualify at various regional venues throughout the country for a birth in the President's Cup final which is played on the US Open final weekend.

The WCT is a world class women's polo event that represents the largest women's polo tournament series in the world. The tournament format includes Qualifier tournaments played across the country and abroad throughout the year, culminating in the annual WCT FINALS at IPC.
